Two employees at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio recently received special recognition for their work at the regional jail. Sue Rastocanof Napoleon was named employee of the year at CCNO. She was selected from among 11 other candidates in part for her willingness to accept additional responsibilities in the intake area where offenders are booked and processed. She has worked at the facility since April 14, 1997. Rosslyn 'Roz' Burt of Bryan, an employee of Five County Drug/Alcohol Center, was named contract employee of the year. She is a counselor at the men's New Beginning Program, a program for inmates offered on a six to eight week basis. CCNO Director Jim Dennis said he's received testimonials from former offenders about the impact the program had on their lives. |
