| Inmate Dies While Under Medical Care of Fla. Jail |

A Hillsborough County inmate died while in the care of medical staff at the jail, officials said. Dana Lee O'Hearn, 35, was found lying face down in his bed in the jail's medical unit just before noon March 16, Hillsborough County sheriff's spokesman Danny Tewmey said. O'Hearn suffered from a medical condition, and attempts to revive him failed. Tewmey did not know the nature of the medical condition. O'Hearn was jailed after his arrest for manslaughter in June 2002. The sheriff's office does not suspect foul play. An autopsy was to be done to determine the cause of death. |
