Wyoming Women's Center Receives Commendation

Staff at the Wyoming Women's Center in Lusk were commended recently for an excellent fire and life safety inspection. According to the Wyoming Department of Fire Prevention & Electrical Safety an inspection that took place on June 25, 2003 resulted in zero deficiencies.
'I would like to commend Mr. David Madvig, Facility Maintenance Manager, for the excellent maintenance program that he has at this facility,' wrote Richard G. Vallee, Fire Compliance Inspector, in a letter to Governor Freudenthal. 'It is evident that all the personnel who work at this facility take pride in their jobs.' The Wyoming Women's Center is one of four prisons administered by the Wyoming Department of Corrections. Nola Blackburn is the warden.
