A Canon City, Colo. prison officer is behind bars, accused of hiring a hitman to kill her husband and having a sexual relationship with a prisoner. The officer worked at one of the prisons in Canon City. A Department of Corrections spokeswoman says Pamela Dickens made a down-payment on the murder to an undercover police officer. She told the officer that she wanted her husband killed so she could get his life insurance money. Then she'd be free to pursue her relationship with the prisoner. Dickens is being held in the Fremont County jail. |
