| Four Prisoners Escape Las Vegas Jail |

Law enforcement authorities are looking for four fugitives from the San Miguel County Detention Center. Las Vegas police did not comment on how the four prisoners escaped Sunday afternoon. Police Chief Albert Mares cites security reasons. Police identified the fugitives as Leroy Lucero, 30, Anthony Esquibel, 24, and Danny Trujillo, 20, all of Las Vegas, and Mark Kaiser, 41, of Salida, Colorado. Officials said Lucero was being held on a charge of aggravated battery on a peace officer. Esquibel was being held for probation violation. Trujillo was in jail on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Kaiser was being held for Taos County on charges of aggravated burglary, breaking and entering. |
