Products The COMPAS Software Suite is a seamless, integrated and web-based software solution for offender assessment, classification and case management. It includes the state-of-the-art COMPAS assessment system, specific to the needs of adults, women, youth and reentry offenders. The COMPAS assessment system is a risk and needs decision support guide for criminal justice practitioners who must make decisions regarding community placement, supervision, treatment and case-management. The COMPAS assessment tools are used across the criminal justice system including applications in pre-trial, courts, probation, institutions, parole, and community corrections. The COMPAS Software Suite also includes comprehensive case management modules to effectively manage probation, parole, community corrections, drug and mental health court caseloads. We will soon be adding Northpointe’s nationally recognized Decision Tree Objective Inmate Classification System which manages all aspects of a jail’s inmate classification operations. Completely scalable from agencies with just a few staff to entire corrections systems with thousands of users – the COMPAS Software Suite is the right solution for your agency. Services Criminal justice agencies are moving toward an evidence-based orientation where work can be evaluated using measures of efficiency and effectiveness. These evaluations require leadership to define how the organization produces outcomes. The answer to these questions is facilitated using an organizational blueprint where the logical connections between outcomes, practices, the agencies rationale, and assessment are specified. Once, complete, the agencies blueprint is used to evaluate and improve the impact on individual and agency objectives. The blueprint approach used by Northpointe creates a common architecture for the criminal justice process. In this work, Northpointe is partnering with agencies to identify organizational and case management improvements in the local criminal justice system. Emphasis is placed on creating continuity in the decision-making practices of the system. These decisions are the context for improvement through the introduction of evidence-based approaches.
