NaphCare announces contract with Federal Medical Center Devens, Massachusetts

Birmingham, AL, (September 3, 2008) - NaphCare, a Birmingham - based provider of correctional health care, was recently re-awarded a dialysis contract with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Medical Center located in Devens, Massachusetts. NaphCare has been providing these services since the dialysis unit first opened in March of 2000.
The new contract, which will provide dialysis services for approximately 120 inmates, is for one year with four optional renewal periods.
NaphCare is the leading provider of on-site nephrology services to inmates with End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) and have provided high quality – community standard nephrology services to county, state, and federal correctional facilities across the country for the past twelve years. Services include hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, inpatient management, and Nephrology consultations.
