Article:
FORT WORTH, Texas (Feb. 25, 2009) – Public Communications Services, Inc., a leading national provider of inmate telecommunications systems for correctional facilities, will establish its research & development and manufacturing facility at Hillwood’s Alliance Global Logistics Hub. The new location will serve as the company’s engineering and technology center.

“Public Communications Services selected this location due to its geographic location in the center of the United States and because of the strength of the telecom technology industry, not only in North Texas, but at the Alliance Global Logistics Hub,” said Tommie E. Joe, president and chief operating officer of Public Communications Services, Inc. “In addition PCS has a significant presence in correctional facilities in Texas and Oklahoma. Our flexible, open architecture platform is the wave of the future in call processing equipment for correctional facilities, and this new location will significantly boost PCS’s ability to be more responsive to the needs of existing customers, but also to work on the technologies of the future.”

PCS leased 18,726 square feet in Hillwood’s Gateway 15 building at the Alliance Global Logistics Hub. When fully operational, PCS expects to handle manufacturing, staging, product development, technical services, and customer care at its new facility, which is located at 4700 Alliance Gateway Freeway in the Fort Worth section of the development.

“Telecommunications is one of the largest industry sectors at Alliance,” said Reid Goetz, marketing manager for Hillwood Properties. “The in-place technology infrastructure along with the skilled telecom and engineering labor force make Alliance the perfect location for PCS’ engineering and manufacturing facility.”
