In her new role, effective immediately, Mooningham will lead the evaluations of clinically-related compliance line phone calls and address internal feedback. She will perform chart reviews, participate in Corizon’s sentinel event process and assist in the analysis of professional liability records. “Tonya exemplifies a strong commitment to quality care and patient safety,” said Dr. Rebekah Haggard, Corizon’s Vice President and Patient Safety Officer. “She will be a vital asset to the team and we are confident she will help further the success of the organization.” Mooningham joins Corizon with more than six years of experience as Director of Quality and Risk Management for Tennessee area hospitals. She earned an associate degree in nursing from Tennessee State University followed by a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Middle Tennessee State University.
